Methods of payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, Cashiers Check, and Money Order.  

We also honor the Bank Wire Transfer method of payment. Please get in touch with us for details at (800) 531-4769.

Purchase orders are accepted from schools, universities, and pre-approved institutions. Please get in touch with us for details regarding purchase orders.

Note: Shade cloth orders - a $ 15.00 handling charge will be added to all shade cloth orders totaling less than $90.00.  

Payment Security

Please be advised that orders exceeding $1000.00 **or** containing a separate billing and shipping address may require a signature upon delivery and/or verbal authorization from the authorized credit cardholder.

Sales tax

As required by prevailing tax law regarding online purchases, sales tax will be charged to customers. The sales tax rate is based on the city, county, and state where the order is shipped.

Due to recent updates to the laws governing taxation for online orders, sales tax applies to many destination states. Still, it can vary depending on the point of origin for specific shipments. We will verify sales tax costs upon your order.

Please contact us if you are tax-exempt so that we may honor your tax-exempt status.

Shipping and delivery

Our items ship on a 'Freight Prepaid' basis from the originating shipping point, and we utilize a range of Common Carriers, LTL Freight, and Full Truckload Freight Carriers.

Our logistics department specializes in finding the most competent service at the lowest cost shipping rates daily, allowing us to offer our customers the best service available on every level.

Shipping costs are calculated per product based on weight, dimensions, and receiving location. Your credit card will not be charged until you have determined and approved the shipping costs.

Orders are shipped by a carrier selected by Gothic Arch Greenhouses, either by single or multiple deliveries. We strive to consolidate multi-component orders into as few shipments, carriers, and receiving days as possible.

Gothic Arch Greenhouses will provide an estimated delivery date; however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

The customer is responsible for unloading and safely storing all deliveries. An offloading service is available at an additional cost to most addresses for large or oversized shipments. Please get in touch with us for details.

Please scrutinize deliveries upon receipt for possible damage or shortages. Freight claims must be made quickly, and visible shipping damage must be noted at delivery time.

Please check our Oversized Shipment Delivery Policy for more information on oversized freight delivery. When you place your order, you will receive full shipping and delivery information via email.

Shipping costs via online shopping cart

Freight costs are not added to the cart on online Shopping Cart orders and are not charged at the initial transaction time. Please watch for our email to finalize the cost of shipping.

International orders

Unless other arrangements are made, all international orders must be paid in advance by bank-to-bank wire transfer or irrevocable Letter of Credit drafted with a US-recognized bank.

Customs brokerage costs, tariffs, and local transportation to the final destination are not included; if you require a quote for these services, please advise before your order. These services may not be available in all areas.

If the client uses their freight forwarder, they can assume responsibility for the shipment at the 'Port of Departure' in the US.

Institutional purchase orders

Any Order accepted must be an official purchase order from the institution's Purchasing Department. Before ordering, don't hesitate to contact our sales office to confirm prices and delivery charges. A delivery surcharge of $50 will apply to any limited-access facility.

Return of merchandise

Our office must approve all returns or cancellations, and they must be for justifiable reasons. The credit extended for such approved returns will be based on the invoice value at our current pricing.

A 15% cancellation fee is applied to orders canceled within 10 days, 20% for orders between 11 and 30 days, and 30% for orders canceled after 30 days.

Returns of merchandise are is not accepted on orders older than 45 days. The customer is solely responsible for the return freight cost of goods to our warehouse

Note: Custom orders are not returnable, but any defective parts will be replaced.

Warranty

The purchaser may contact Gothic Arch Greenhouses for items the manufacturer warrants to redress the warranty.

GOTHIC ARCH GREENHOUSES, INC. shall not be liable for damages or loss from the use, handling, or storage of goods or services rendered.
